Eyes:
To start everything off, you want to make sure that you prime your eyes. The one I used is the Urban Decay Primer Potion in the shade 'Eden'. If you have fair skin like me, this will work well for evening out your skin tone and making sure any veins or discoloration stay hidden. If you have a darker skin tone, I would suggest checking out the MAC Paint Pots, or even the Stila Smudge Pots, which are available at Sephora.
Next, apply a skin toned, shimmery, cream shadow. For me, this is the MAC Paint Pot in the shade 'Bare Study', but a good alternative for other skin tones are the Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadows, which are available at Sephora as well, along with the Benefit website.
After you have your base down, apply a satiny eye shadow that is similar to your skin tone. I used MAC's Brule, but you can use any satin or matte flesh toned shade that blends in to the rest of your skin.
Next, apply a slightly shimmery mid-tone brown lightly to your crease, swiping back and forth in windshield wiper like motions to blend as you apply.

Using a matte dark brown shadow, smudge a light shadow on to your upper lashline with a pencil brush. While you're at it, smudge a little bit on your outer lower lashline, about to where the colored part of your eye starts. I used Bobbi Brown's 'Taupe' Eye Shadow for this step.
If you curl your lashes, do that now! If you don't, feel free to skip this step, although I greatly encourage it!
Finish off the eyes by applying some of your favorite mascara. I used Bare Essentials 'Buxom Lash'.
Face:
To achieve Emily's fresh-faced glow, I used a tinted moisturizer. Before that, I of course used a primer; Bare Minerals Prime Time. After that, I applied Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer using a small stippling brush to help my face look airbrushed and flawless (even though it's completely not!). Then I used Make Up For Ever's Full Cover Concealer to cover up any imperfections and under my eyes. To set everything and provide a little bit more coverage, I used Make Up For Ever's Duo Mat Powder Foundation.
Cheeks:
Emily always has a subtle sunkissed glow, and to emulate that, I used a matte bronzer to add some natural dimension to my face. A great one is Benefit's Hoola, but a more affordable option is the NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in '720A, Sunny'. To add a little but of color, I used NARS' Orgasm Blush, which works with any skin tone. It's amazing!
Lips:
To add a little bit of color and depth, but still look like I have nothing on, I used a little swipe of MAC's Creme Cup Cremesheen Lipstick.
I hope you all enjoyed this look as much as I did! I really love Emily, as well as her flawless signature makeup look!
